A common cause of visual impairment in the developed countries, age-related macular degeneration or AMD, as the name suggests, is caused by ageing primarily. There are however some factors which contribute to early and more severe manifestations. The following infographic describes those risk factors and shows how you can reduce the risk of AMD.
